We started with a seminar for hairdressers early November with a small team from Billi Currie showcasing creative salon work. Mimi Demonstrated her winning luck from the hair club live event, the seminar was a huge success.






We have also had an in salon training day for all the team on Customer Care with the fantastic John Huscroft. For us it is really important to regularly train and develop the way we look after our Salon guests



We went along as guests to a Fellowship hair evening in Holborn. The hair stylists on stage were showing ideas, techniques & inspirations taken from the Fellowship for hairdressing Project X course through 2016. It was a very energised show with references to New York ‘Studio 54’, ‘Noise London’ originally created by Richard Ashforth & ideas from Guido’s Incredible hair ideas that he created for the Iconic designer “Alexander McQueens” collections



20th November I flew out to Ireland to judge the annual in salon competition for Hugh Campbell hair group. There were 3 section’s to judge. Future talent for Assistants/Apprentices who show cased their skills in creating a street style influenced hair up look.

Winner: Jessie Thielamay,2nd Place: Niamh Whelan, 3rd Place: Deirdre (Giedre Beruckaite-Mauriciene)

Future talent for Assistants to show their skills in haircutting and colour trends –Winner: Jamie-Anne Greene, Runner up: Zara (Lisa Mc Caffrey)

Senior section – for experienced team members who created a finished look in cut and colour – –Winners: Sonia Danaher & Jennifer O Connell , Runner up: Paudie Walsh & Tim Shanahan

The level of work was incredibly high, it is always amazing to be part of this great day, above all to witness the emotions from all who are brave enough to enter. All will have grown immensely in this experience and should be proud of their achievements Individually and as part of the Hugh Campbell hair group.


28th November Billi, Debbie and Tom attended the British hairdressing awards at the Grosvenor House Hotel it was a fantastic evening.

22nd of November was the Billi Currie in salon assessment for Emilia who is one of our up and coming stars, congratulations on passing!
23rd  November the annual Christmas event in Chiltern Street, we were joined by existing  & new guests for a glass of bubbly & a festive mince pie. It was great for all the team to be dressed  up and to welcome in the festive season. Our team member & model in the window got a lot of attention!


We are proud to announce our lovely apprentice Gabi Popova achieved 1st place in her college competition for her RED QUEEN LOOK FROM ALICE IN WONDERLAND.
All in all we have been extremely busy with lots of exciting things now it’s all hands on deck for Team Billi Currie with the run-up to Christmas.
