This was my first experience to work on London Fashion Week.
I worked on the Jasper Conran Show.
Call time was 9:30am at Claridges Hotel in London.
It was a very beautiful venue.
The main Hair stylist was Samantha Hillary.
who does lots of Session work (ELLE magazine etc…).
There were Fifteen hairdressers in total on the show,
We had a meeting to discuss the hair story.
The look/design was to Keep the hair very natural – Androgynous feel. 22 models took part. We worked with the models natural textures, keeping the feel undone and loose.
I used Oribe’s Run-Through it is a lightweight conditioning detangler primes hair for immediate glide-through combing. Also conditions and hydrates, leaving hair baby soft.

It was an amazing experience to work with other stylists. When you finished your model we helped each other to make sure every single model’s hair was done on time, ready for the show.
Then they lined up, I was so excited.
The show went so quick!
To be honest… the back stage was so busy – Hairdressers, Make up artists and Fitters, Media people…. So many people were involved to make this amazing show.
I was so proud to be a part of the team.
I met lots of great people at the show.
I would like to do it all over again!
