Our Colour Team have extensive ongoing training in the latest colouring techniques and styles to make sure we are always up to date with movements in Hair Colour. You can book many of our colour services immediately online but for our advanced bespoke colour services, such as creative colour, corrective work or the high fashion techniques such as Ombre, Balayage, and Ecaille we recommend a consultation first with one of our specialists. For your information you will find below a short description of some of our most popular colouring techniques.
PLEASE NOTE: Many of the looks we see on our favourite celebrities or in ‘Hairspiration’ images, have been achieved through a combination of the following techniques. For an exact price quote we highly recommend you arrange to consult with one of our team who can advise you on the bespoke techniques most suitable for you. While we offer complimentary consultations with most of our team, a £50 charge is taken when booking a consultation with our Owner (Billi) or Director (Tom). This is redeemable against future hair services with Billi and Tom.
FULL COLOUR This service is for a complete colour from root to tip. Works best on natural hair or when going one or two shades darker. If you have pre-existing dye on your hair or want a drastic change it might be best to pop in for a complimentary consultation first, to chat with one of our colourists, as more stages may be required.
ROOT COLOUR When you need to have your roots refreshed and time is short, this technique blends away your natural hair growth since your last full colour.
BALAYAGE Particularly personal; this technique requires great attention to detail and is fabulous for textured colours from super-natural to statement-making blends! Keep it subtle with a few sunkissed pieces or use this current fashionable technique to really change or update your look! Many people don’t know that ‘Balayage’ is the French word for ‘sweeping’. This describes the ‘Hair Painting’ technique required for so many of todays modern colour looks, and can be used to create, OMBRE, ECAILLE, SOMBRE, HIGHLIGHTS, BALAYAGE and many other on-trend colours.
HIGHLIGHTS: Tailor-made, Multi-tonal colour using foil or freehand techniques. Your stylist will advise you on the tones and placement that works best for you.
